Introduction
This blog space is about education and how I can improve my classroom
I am a math teacher at Curry High School. We are located next to Smith Lake outside Jasper, AL. I have been teaching for 18 years and still have a lot to learn. Love to have new ideas for blogs. My goals are to improve my knowledge of education to better my classroom and to one day become a principal. My favorit use of technology is the Smartboard.

Hello, Jamie. I, too, am a math teacher. What class(es) do you teach?
ReplyDeletehave just gotten a MOBI. I love it, but am still getting use to using it. The school system budget is tough all around. It is scary to know we are held to such high standards, but aren't given the materials to do such things. I myself raise money for a lot of things I have in my room. As a first grade teacher I have 3 computers, 1 MOBI, and an ELMO. I am very thankful for the materials we have in our classrooms. I used a Smartboard when I did my student teaching. They are great. Glad to have you in my group!!
ReplyDeleteHey Jamie. It looks like Dr. Fowler stuck us math teachers together! My school was lucky enough(I guess its one way to think about it) to be considered Title 1 which means we qualify for loads of funds for technology and other resources. I look foward to sharing our knowledge during these last few weeks.
